A merchant has the ability to pause a subscription from their PayFast account at any given time by following the below steps:
- Log into your PayFast account.
- Navigate to the "transactions tab" and click on "subscriptions".
- Under "Subscriptions that are due to you", retrieve the subscription that you would like to pause.
- Click on the "||" icon next to the subscription to pause.
- Enter the number of times that you would like the subscription to be paused.
- Check the box that you acknowledge that any changes may trigger emails to the subscriber and merchant.
- Click the "Update" button to confirm the cancellation of the subscription.
*NB The buyer will be notified via email that the subscription has been paused.
