Can I split a payment with numerous accounts?

While it is possible to have Split Payments set up between one primary Payfast account and an unlimited number of secondary split accounts (or vice versa), each payment from a buyer can only be split once between one primary account and one secondary split account.

This means that when a buyer checks out on a platform they can only check out a cart from one merchant at a time. If they want to buy items from another merchant on the same platform, then they will have to go through a new checkout process. In each instance, the payment from the buyer will be split between the merchant (primary account) and the platform (secondary split account). The platform, however, can be the secondary split account for an unlimited amount of merchants using their platform. In each of these instances, different payment split amounts can be set for different merchants.
