How can I add bank details to my buyer account?

In order to withdraw a positive balance from your buyer account, you will need to log in to your PayFast account, add bank details and then request a payout. This article will guide you through the process.

You are able to log in

If you are able to log in to your account, do the following:
1. Navigate to Account.
2. Click Edit next to Banking Info and enter your banking details.
3. In the top menu click Payout.
4. Request a payout. The payout will be made to your bank account within 7 working days.



You don’t know your password or you are unable to log in

If you are unable to log in, do the following:
1. Go to https://www.payfast.co.za/registration and register as a Buyer.
2. Enter the same email address (or mobile number) that we contacted you on.
3. You will get one of two messages:

  - Account already exists
  - Account already exists, please follow link in activation email

What to do next for “1. Account already exists”
Simply reset your password by visiting https://www.payfast.co.za/user/forgotten
You will now be able to log in.

What to do next for “2. Account already exists, please follow link in activation email”
1. Go to your email inbox and find the email from PayFast.  2. Click the activation link.
Reset your password by visiting https://www.payfast.co.za/user/forgotten You will now be able to log in.
You can now go to your Account page, add Banking Info and then request a payout.
