How do I integrate PayFast with HikaShop?
In order to use PayFast with HikaShop, you will need to install the PayFast payment module for HikaShop which is provided by PayFast.
Installation requirements
You will need a working installation of Joomla and HikaShop in order to use the PayFast plugin
Installation and testing
To install HikaShop, do the following:
Go to Joomla’s Extension manager. Using the main menu, navigate to Extensions > Manage > Install.
Drag and drop the PayFast zip file (mod-hikashop-master.zip) or click Browse for file and install it.
Still in extension manager, navigate to Manage, search for PayFast, and click enable extension.
Navigate to Components > HikaShop, then select System > Currencies. Search for ZAR and ensure it is displayed and published.
Navigate to System > Payment Methods.
Click New and select Hikashop PayFast Payment Plugin.
Select ZAR in the currency field and set published to yes. Leave the remaining fields as they are in order to test the plugin in sandbox mode.
Once you are ready to go live, input your Merchant ID and Key, as well as passphrase if you have set one on your PayFast account and set sandbox to No.
